I have been able to meet all my deadlines for the compulsory units which has made me more confident to carry on in the future. The only unit I am struggling on at the moment is Computer Architecture run by Paul because I don't fully understand all the terms used in the unit.

Ive been able to achieve half of my goals and targets on my personal development plan and i plan to improve my practical skills. At the moment I am pleased with my targets and with my everything I achieved. I achieved some of my targets before December which it gives me encouragement to keep going like this. I am more confident now that i will be able to finish till June. 

I am fully on target on Communication and employability unit and I have achieved all the merit tasks of the unit. Communication is very important as a skill for employers and i think through this unit i was able to understand why its important and also how to improve my communication skills for a future job.

My Diary

I intend to learn about the system of computer architecture by the end of my course, I am particularly interested in the binary aspect of computer coding. I recently did a test on binary and I thought I did well. I think that the test helped my academic learning and is a learning style that I prefer. 

I have worked to meet my deadlines by completing all of the refereed work and have also attempted some merit standard work on the same unit. I made sure all of my work is proof read before submitting it to Gordon, and also checked the spelling, sentence structures and word choices so that they are reflective of academic writing. Meeting deadlines and completing assigned work has improved my self confidence and academic and personal development.
